Emmanuel Yisreal pleaded Guilty to one count of Predatory Criminal Sexual Assault of a victim under 13

A Quincy man, facing four Class X counts after being accused of having inappropriate contact with a 12-year old boy last year, has pleaded Guilty to one of the counts and is going to prison.

Emmanuel Yisreal was in Adams County Circuit Court Wednesday afternoon. Records show he changed his Not Guilty plea on one count of Predatory Criminal Sexual Assault of a victim under 13. As part of a settlement, three similar counts were dropped by prosecutors. After the plea, Yisreal was then sentenced to 8 years in prison. An Adams County Grand Jury indicted Yisreal in early February on the charges. He was arrested in early February by Quincy police. A report says that they began their investigation just after the first of the year. Police say that during their investigation, they found that Yisreal had allegedly had inappropriate sexual contact with the 12 year old boy in early October and mid November 2018.

Yisreal is in the Adams County Jail on $500,000 bond in a separate case. He's due to go on trial next month in that case.
