Travis Wiley accused of killing infant in January 2018

A Quincy man, charged with 1st Degree Murder in the January 2018 death of a baby, will go on trial next year.

Travis Wiley was in Adams County Circuit Court Wednesday for a status hearing. Records show he'll go on trial starting February 10th. Wiley's pleaded Not Guilty to three counts of 1st Degree Murder and one count of Aggravated Battery to a Child. He'll have a Canadian pathologist take the case pro bono, and will conduct an investigation and testify at trial. Wiley was indicted on the charges in mid-July 2018 by an Adams County Grand Jury after a six-month investigation. He's accused of shaking the unidentified baby last January. The baby died two days later at a St. Louis hospital.

Wiley's in the Adams County Jail on $5 million bond, and will be back in court January 15th.
