Quincy police say Lori Thompson set fires at three different homes in 2016-2017

Quincy police say they've arrested a woman in connection with five different residential fires between 2016 and 2017 on the city's southeast side, including three at the same home.

Police identify the woman as 55-year-old Lori Thompson, who they picked up Wednesday on one count of Aggravated Arson and five counts of Residential Arson. In a report, police say they developed Thompson as a suspect in two fires that happened in the city, on December 1, 2016 at 2317 Waters Ct. and on October 4, 2017 at 3206 Rutledge Place. Thompson was also suspected in three different fires at 2436 Curved Creek on October 11, November 8 and November 10, 2016. Police say she lived at all three homes at the time of the fires. They add they were helped in their investigation by the Quincy Fire Department and insurance investigators.

Thompson's in the Adams County Jail on $50,000 bond, and may appear in court Thursday.
