MoDOT says truck overturned around Midnight Monday
A Ralls County road was closed for over 8 hours early Monday morning, after a traffic accident involving turkeys.
The Missouri Department of Transportation said that Route EE in Ralls County was closed at Highway 19 and Route J because of that crash. MoDOT says that around midnight, a semi carrying turkeys overturned. The area was closed until around 9:00 AM Monday morning.
Crews worked for hours to upright the truck and get the turkeys off-loaded. There were no reports of injuries.
