Total positives now at 785

The rate of positive cases of COVID-19 in Adams County seems to be slowing down.

On Thursday, the Adams County Health Department said that 6 people tested positive for the virus on Wednesday. They include a girl under 10 and a girl aged 10 to 19. The new cases increase the total number of positive results to 785. The number of people actively infected keeps decreasing, and is now down to 69. 18 people, aged 40 to 99 are in the hospital. Of those, 2 are in the Intensive Care Unit. Adams County's medical capacity is still in good shape. 30 per cent of hospital beds and 34 per cent of critical care beds are available, as are 52 per cent of ventilators. The County's positivity rate over the last 7 days keeps rising, and is now at 5.75 per cent.

Nine Adams County residents have died of COVID-19.
