Blaze reported at 9:50 PM Wednesday at apartment on North 4th Street

No one was hurt, but four people are out of their home after a suspicious apartment fire Wednesday night on Quincy's northwest side.

Quincy fire fighters say they were called to an apartment building in the 900 block of North 4th Street just before 10 PM to battle that blaze. The building was divided into three apartments, with the fire destroying an unoccupied two story apartment. While the fire was confined to that side of the building, four people living in two other apartments were evacuated. They're getting help from the local chapter of the American Red Cross in finding a new place to live.

The fire is considered incendiary in nature and authorities are investigating.
