Three Hurt on 96

8 years, 2 months ago by Jim Dewey

Three people were injured when three vehicles wrecked on highway 96 north of Quincy Wednesday afternoon at 2:45.

Adams County authorities say 25 year old Shelby Geising of Mendon triggered the chain reaction accident when she drove her vehicle into the rear of a vehicle driven by 23 year old Miriam Velarde of Quincy.

The rear impact pushed Velarde's vehicle across the center line of hwy 96 where it was struck by a southbound vehicle.

 Geising was not hurt.

Velarde and two others were taken to Blessing Hospital with non life threatening injuries.

Hwy 96 was closed during debris clean-up
