Two years ago a number of homes and businesses in the area were devastated by high winds, rain and hail. The date of July 13, 2015, for some, will be forever etched in their minds.
Although it was never labeled a “tornado” the damage stretched for miles and uprooted some of the largest and oldest trees within Quincy’s city limits.
Both Washington and Madison Parks lost a number of trees as did the rest of the community.
Look at them then; look at them now. What a difference two years makes.
