Accused of firing four shots last August near 4th and Hampshire

A Burlington, Iowa woman, accused of firing several shots in Quincy's District in September, has pleaded Not Guilty.

Ashley Wilson entered that plea Friday in Adams County Circuit Court at her arraignment on one count each of Aggravated Discharge of a Firearm and Reckless Discharge of a Firearm. Wilson's accused of firing several shots at a Chicago man while they were in a parking lot near the intersection of 4th and Hampshire. A witness says that after the shots were fired, Wilson said she was being physically abused by a man in a vehicle, and she was trying to get away from him. The man, Kendrick Page, had two Battery counts dropped Monday by the State’s Attorney’s office.

Wilson’s free on $20,000 bond, and will be back in court April 27th.
