The charges against Stefan Junior and Julia were officially dropped earlier this week. Jones said that Humphrey's family didn't think that quote "pursuing the criminal charges further would serve to advance the legacy of Rayshone Humphrey Jr."

State's Attorney Gary Farha also said in the statement that obtaining a conviction against the three would be quote, "exceptionally unlikely."
