Highway Patrol says that a Kansas-City area man us dead in Tuesday afternoon crash near Center.
A Kansas-City area man is dead after a two-car crash Tuesday afternoon near Center.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol identifies the man as Frederick Thompson, 44, of Higginsville, MO. They say the crash happened at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday on Missouri 19 near Center. A report says that the crash happened when a car driven by Cynthia Kilby, 64, of Hannibal was hit by Thompson's car. Troopers say that Thompson's car crossed the center line and skidded sideways into Kilby's.
Thompson was pronounced dead at the scene by Ralls County authorities. Kilby was seriously injured and taken to Hannibal Regional Hospital for treatment.
