Police say Joshua Martin, 35, arrested at his home on city's northwest side
Quincy police say they've made another child porn arrest, based on information from a national organization and state authorities.
Police said Wednesday that 35-year old Joshua Martin was arrested around 3 PM at a home in the 500 block of Oak on one count of Distribution of Child Porn. A statement says that police first started investigating last November, after multiple cybertips were generated about someone in Quincy sharing images through various social media. Police say the tips were processed by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and the Illinois Attorney General's Office. They were then forwarded to the QPD. Those organizations turned over tips that led to the December arrest of Martin Wiskur, and the arrest last month of Jonathan Hoats. Both men have been charged with similar crimes.
Martin is in the Adams County Jail, and will likely have a bond hearing Thursday.
