Glenn Wooden sentenced for having over 300 grams of meth
A Quincy man, convicted on Federal meth dealing charges, has been sentenced to 25 years in prison.
Glenn Wooden was in US District Court in Springfield Thursday afternoon, where he was sentenced to 25 years in prison. Wooden will then have 5 years' supervised release after he serves his sentence. He was convicted in late February after a two-day trial on three counts of meth distribution and one count of meth possession with intent to distribute. Prosecutors said during the trial that Federal agents conducted three controlled drug buys with Wooden.
A search of Wooden's home during his arrest found 327 grams of meth. He could have been sentenced to anywhere from 10 years to life in prison.
