Natasha McBride faces 16 counts, including four counts of 1st Degree Murder

A Quincy woman, indicted on 1st Degree Murder charges in connection with a car crash in August 2020 that killed four people, will go on trial in May.

Natasha McBride was in Adams County Circuit Court Tuesday, where she decided to have a bench trial, starting May 1st. McBride was indicted in late August 2020 by an Adams County Grand Jury. Besides the four Murder counts, McBride was also indicted on four counts each of Reckless Homicide, Leaving the Scene of an Injury Accident and Driving while license revoked. She's pleaded Not Guilty. McBride's accused of running a red light at Fourth and Broadway on August 14th, 2020 and crashing into a vehicle heading north on Fourth. That crash resulted in the deaths of four people, Jennifer Hendricks of Rushville, and her three grandsons, Dakota, Arsher and Ransom Corrick, all of Kirksville. Prosecutors have called McBride's actions before the crash intentional.

McBride's in the Adams County Jail on $5 million bond.
